Each listing record is linked to a property record, which is in turn linked to a contact record. The listing record information is defined by the contents of the Listing Info, Listing Parties, and the Scheduled Activities.
The information in the Property Details, Property Address and Photos tabs are drawn from the linked property record. This means that changes you make to these tabs will be reflected in the property record that is linked to the contact record.
You should create a listing record immediately upon getting a listing so that you can leverage Top Producer 8i's key features:
Apply a listing plan. This will automatically insert important tasks and milestone reminders into your calendar, keeping you on top of the selling (or buying) process.
Create flyers for mass mailouts, open house handouts, or for email distribution to interested clients.
Create a Customer Web Page for the involved parties and apply a service activities report plan to keep the contact informed of the actions you are taking on their behalf with regularly scheduled service reports.
Upload the listing to your Top Producer web site, in addition to any other web sites that you may have configured for listing uploads
Post the listing to your social media accounts.
Finally, when the listing sells, create a closing record with a single click.
