The best way of finding a contact depends on the reason you're looking for the contact in the first place.
If you're preparing to perform a mass action (e.g. perform a mass update or mass deletion), you'll want to use the Contact Search feature to identify the set of contacts you want to work with.
If you want to update an individual contact record in some way (e.g. add or edit contact numbers, add or remove a property, add or remove photos) you can use the Contact Look-up from the Dashboard screen or the Contacts Summary screen as detailed in the procedure below.
To find a contact using the Contacts Summary screen:
Open the
Contacts Summary screen.
How?![]()
In the Contacts Summary table, you have the following options:
Click on the Favorites
icon to mark and display only your favorite contacts.
Click on the first letter of the contact's last name and scroll to find the contact.
Click the All link to display every contact in your contact database.
Tip: If none of these options narrow down the search results sufficiently, click the Advanced Search action link to access the Contact Search feature.
Click on the contact's row to open the Contact Record.
