Adding and Removing Photos

Adding and removing photos is usually done from the Photos tab of the Contact Record or the Listing Record. The Add Photo in-line is also for various other tasks in Top Producer 8i, such as managing agent/assistant pictures and logos and configuring your customer web lead form portals. Options will change according to the 8i feature, but the basic operation remains the same regardless of where it is used.

To add a photo:

  1. Open the record you want to work with. How?triangle.gif

  2. From the specific detailed record screen (e.g. the Contact Record), click the Photos tab.

  3. Click the Add Photo action link.

  4. Click the Browse button in the Photo for upload section.

  5. Navigate to the location of the photo on your local computer.

  6. Click on the photo to select it and click Open.

  7. If you are adding a photo from the Contact Record:

    1. Select the Type of photo you're adding: Contact, Property, or Map.

    2. Use the [Photo Type] Depicted drop-down to specify who or what the photo contains. Select the individual (if adding a contact photo) or property (if adding a property photo or a map) from the drop-down list.

    3. Select whether or not the photo is the default photo for the [Photo Type] Depicted. Specifying the photo depicted (and whether or not it is the default photo) will determine whether it is merged into presentations, flyers, etc.

  8. If you are adding a photo from the Listing Record:

    1. Select the Type of photo you're adding: Property or Map.

    2. Use the Room/View Depicted drop-down to specify who or what the photo contains.

    3. Select whether or not the photo is the default photo for the Room/View Depicted. Specifying the photo depicted (and whether or not it is the default photo) will determine whether it is merged into presentations, flyers, etc.

tip_icon2.gif Tip: You can have more than one photo per [Photo Type] Depicted value. Use the Default radio button to determine which photo you want used when creating marketing material for the contact or listing. If you have any photos at all for a [Photo Type] Depicted value, there will always be a default photo selected. If you delete the default photo without defining a new default photo, 8i will choose one automatically.

  9. Click Add Photo.

To remove a photo:

  1. Open the record you want to work with. How?triangle.gif

  2. From the specific detailed record screen (e.g. the Contact Record), click the Photos tab.

  3. Hover your mouse over the photo you want to delete.

    The Photo pop-up appears.
