When you complete an activity you should always mark it done. Once an activity is marked done, it will no longer appear in activity lists reminding you to perform it. You can view the completed activity on the Activities Summary screen and from the Activities tab of the associated record.
If you marked on activity done and want to reverse this, you can mark the activity as "incomplete". See the "To undo a mark done" procedure below.
To mark a single activity done:
This procedure describes how to mark an individual activity done. For instructions on marking multiple activities done, see the "Performing Mass Actions on Activities" topic.
If you are working with activities from the:
Activities Summary screen, you can search for the activity by specifying search criteria and then clicking Show Activities. Otherwise, proceed to step 2.
Listing To-Dos or Closing To-Dos screen, click the To-Dos link in the appropriate section.
Contact/Referral/Listing/Closing record, click the Activities tab.
Click the
icon beside the activity you want to mark done.
If the activity is a parent activity or an activity linked to a listing or closing, proceed to step 3. Otherwise, skip this step.
If you are working with a:
Parent activity , specify the activity's completion
date on the Set Completion Date
dialog box. Example:
