To edit a referral record:
Open the
Referral Record.
How?
Tip: You can view multiple referrals by selecting the check boxes beside the referrals you want to view on the Referrals Summary screen, and then clicking the Mass Open link. Click the <Prev and Next> links at the bottom of the screen to view the selected referrals.
The Referral Record screen breaks the information concerning a single referral into a set of ordered tabs, each of which can be viewed and edited. Click any of the links below to view the fields and functions available for each:
A few of the more common edits are:
Changing transaction status or other referral details:
Note: The transaction status of any listings or closing linked to the referral record is not automatically updated within the referral record itself.
From the Referral Info tab of the Referral Record, click the Edit Referral Information action link.
Select the new status from the Transaction Status drop-down list.

Click the Save Referral Information button.
Adding a contact to the Referred Contacts list, see Adding Contacts to a Referral.
Creating a listing or a closing for the Referred Contacts in the Referral Record:
From any tab in the Referral Record (except the Activities tab), click the Create Listing/Closing action link.
From the pop-up menu, select whether you want to create a listing or a closing.
Depending on your selection, either the Add Listing form or the Add closing form is displayed. See Creating a Listing or Creating a Closing for details.
Scheduling activities for parties linked to a referral:
From the Referral Record's Activities tab of the Referral Record, select the referral party that you want to work with from the Show drop-down list and then click the Add Activity or Select Action Plans action link. See scheduling activities for more information.
