The Search for Contacts Screen (Activities)

The Search for Contacts screen displayed from the Add Activity form is used when scheduling an activity involving multiple contacts. This screen is a simplified version of the main Search for Contacts screen.

FIELDS AVAILABLE ON THIS SCREEN
FIELD	COMMENTS
Contact Type	Contact Type selections are joined with AND statements when the search is run, therefore only contact records containing every selected Contact Type will appear as search results.
Last Name First Name	Used to search for contact records which start with the same letters as the criteria defined.
Company	Used to search for contact records that contain the search criteria anywhere within the Company field.
Street Address City State Zip	Searches all contact properties: primary, investment, and other. Only primary addresses will be displayed in the search results screen. All of a contact's properties are searched collectively during the search, so, for example, if the specified street address matches one property, and the street name or city matches another, the contact will be returned as a match.
