When you set up a recurring activity, you need to specify details including how often you want the activity to occur and when you want it to begin and end.
To specify the recurrence pattern:
Open the Add Activity or Activity Details screen.
How?
Select a recurrence frequency from the Recurrence drop-down. The value is defaulted to "Does not recur."
Once you have selected a recurrence value, an in-line form appears:
Daily: Note that the "Recurs Every X Days" option does not skip weekends but the "Recurs Every Weekday" does. If you want to create a recurring activity that happens only on certain weekdays, use the Weekly recurrence pattern and select more than one day of the week within it.
Weekly: To define a weekly activity that occurs more than once a week, select the check box for more than one day (e.g. every Monday and Friday).
Monthly: Note that an event does not have to happen every month; you can define up to 6 months between recurrences.
Yearly: Recurrences can be defined as either specific dates or days defined by their day of the week and position within the month (e.g. the 2nd Friday of January).
In the Stop Recurring section, choose one of the following:
On [date]: If you want the activity to stop recurring after a certain date. Type a date or use the calendar pop-up to select the date of the last occurrence of the repeating activity.
After [#] Occurrences: If you want the activity to occur a specific number of times.
Specify the remaining activity details. For more information, see "Scheduling an Activity" or "Editing Activities".
Click the Save Activity button to save your changes when editing an activity or Add Activity button when adding a new activity.
