Wrapping up a task or conversation
You can wrap up anything you want – a conversation you had with a contact or a task you completed for them. It only takes a few clicks, and when you do, a completed activity is saved for your records.
View stepsOpen the contact’s record (Contacts > Contacts Summary > click the contact). From the contact record’s Summary tab, click Wrap Up.
From the Wrap Up screen, enter the details (see the screenshot below for details).
Tip: You can also wrap up a task you completed for an important date that you entered (for example, you sent a card for a contact’s property purchase anniversary). For details, see Entering Important Dates for Your Contacts.

Why would I want to "wrap up" a task?Wrapping up a task helps you keep track of conversations and actions you’ve taken and schedule follow-up activities. When you wrap up a conversation/task, a completed activity and the details you enter are saved for your records. See Wrapping up a task or conversation above.

From the Activities tab in the contact’s record. (Go to Contacts > Contacts Summary > click the contact. Click the Activities tab > select Complete from the Show drop-down list.)
You can view it on the contact record’s Summary tab. (Go to Contacts > Contacts Summary > click the contact > click the Summary tab. In the Show area, ensure the All option is selected.)

The follow-up task will appear in My Business when it comes due.

Marking an activity done is available for activities you’ve already planned and scheduled in Top Producer CRM. But what about when a contact calls you or you bump into them on the street?
