Working with Draft Messages

When you click Save Draft or Save Draft & Close on the Compose Email screen, the message is saved to the Drafts folder, where you can reopen, edit, and send the message at a later date.

Important: Your Top Producer 8i Inbox is only active if your Email settings are set to use either your @topproducer.com account or another external email account. If you have not done so then the Inbox email application is not relevant to you.

To reopen a draft message for editing and sending:

  1. Open the Inbox screen. How?triangle.gif

  2. Select the Drafts folder.

  3. Click the message you want to edit.

    The Compose Email screen appears.

  4. Select the recipients for the email. More Info:triangle.gif

  5. Type a Subject for the email.

  6. Click the Attachments' Browse button to attach a file, such as a picture or document, to the email.

  7. Compose the message body. You can use the toolbar commands to format your email message.
