While all activities can be viewed from the Activities Summary screen of the Calendar feature, an easy way to access activities for editing is go directly to their linked contact, referral, listing or closing record and open the activity from the record's Activities tab.
Note: You can view the record's activities - whether completed or incomplete - from the Activity tab of the record or from the Activities Summary screen. Once an activity has been marked as "complete", it can be opened in View mode only.
To edit a linked activity:
Open the record
you want to work with. How?
From the specific detailed record screen (e.g. the Contact Record), select the Activities tab.
Click the activity you want to edit to display the Activity Details screen.
Tip: To view multiple activities, select the check boxes beside
the activities you want to view, and then click the Mass
Open link. Click the <Prev
and Next> links at the
bottom of the screen to view the selected activities.
Click in any field to switch the screen to Edit mode. For a complete list of the fields and their meanings for each activity type, see the "Activity Details screen" reference topic.
Make your changes and click the Save Activity button.
The changes are saved and you return to the record from which you accessed the Activity form.
