Top Producer 8i can accept leads from a wide variety of sources. For this to function, you need to tell 8i which lead sources to expect. Once you've set up your lead providers, leads will be automatically pushed from those sources into Top Producer 8i. You can set up lead alerts so you are notified each time a lead is received in 8i.
Once a lead is received, a duplicate contact check will be performed the first time you open the new lead record if this option is enabled. In addition, you can set up Auto Apply Plan Rules to ensure a plan is automatically applied to the lead.
