Setting Up Email Stationery

You can set up custom-branded email stationery and include links to any web sites you choose. There are several stationery themes and colors available, so you can choose the style that reflects your personal branding. This stationery can be automatically inserted into the different types of email you send from Top Producer 8i.

Warning: If you plan to use Top Producer 7i after you have set up the Stationery feature in Top Producer 8i, the stationery will appear on all auto-send emails from both 7i and 8i if you specify its usage for "Email Activities" (step 6 below). All other email types in 7i (e.g. compose email, mass email, etc) will not be affected and will not merge in the stationery.

To set up email stationery:

  1. Open the Stationery tab. How?triangle.gif

  2. Click the Edit Stationery Settings action link.

  3. In the Layout section, select one of the three styles available by selecting the appropriate radio button. To view a sample of each style, click the Preview icon_preview_link.gif icon.

  4. Select the Color scheme you want to use by clicking the color. To view a particular style in a selected color, click the Preview icon_preview_link.gif icon.

  5. In the Link [number] sections, specify the Link Text and URL you want included in your stationery. More Info:triangle.gif

  6. In the Stationery Usage section, select the types of email you want the stationery automatically included on by selecting the appropriate check boxes.

    Note: Stationery will not be included when replying or forwarding an email from the Inbox.

  7. Click:

  8. To edit your stationery, click the Edit Stationery in Editor button. More Info:triangle.gif

  9. When finished, click Save Stationery.

Your stationery will appear on the outgoing email types you selected.
