Adding a Picture to an Email Message

Open the Compose Email screen or the Mass Email screen. How?

Click the Insert Picture icon.

Note: This function only supports the following file formats: GIF, JPEG, JPG, or PNG.

The Properties of dialog box opens.

In the Image source text box either:

• Specify the path of the image file.

2. Click the Browse   icon  to insert a picture that is located on your computer. From the Open window, navigate to the picture file on your computer, and then click Open.

From the Align drop-down list,  select how you want the picture aligned.

In the Border field, specify the thickness of the picture's border in pixels. The allowable range is 0-500 pixels.

In the Dimension section, specify the picture's width and height in pixels.

In the Spacing section:

2. In the horizontal text box, specify the amount of space along the left and right sides of the picture in pixels. The allowable range is from 0-500 pixels.

3. In the vertical text box, specify the amount of space across the top and bottom of the picture in pixels. The allowable range is from 0-500 pixels.

In the Alternative text field, type a text string that will appear in place of the picture, should the email recipient not be able to view the inserted picture image.

Click OK.

Open the Mass Email screen. How?

Place your cursor where you want to insert the picture merge code.

Click the Insert Merge Code link in the bottom right corner.

The Insert Merge Code in-line control appears.

In the Type section, select the Picture Merge Codes radio button.

Select the Category that contains your picture merge code.

Select a Merge Code from the drop-down list.

Click the Insert Merge Code button.

If the recipient has a photo to match the merge code, the photo will be merged into the email message and can be viewed when previewed.
