Sending Newsletters to Contacts

If you have a Top Marketer license, you can invite contacts to subscribe to monthly newsletters that contain relevant knowledge and current information about the real estate market. Your contacts will then receive a link to the newsletter where they can opt-in and become subscribers.

Note: Before you can complete the steps below, you must specify integration information in both 8i and Top Marketer. For more information on setting this up in 8i, see "Defining a Top Marketer Data Service". For more information on setting this up in Top Marketer, see the Top Marketer documentation.

To subscribe contacts to newsletters:

  1. Open the Search for Contacts screen. How?triangle.gif

  2. Perform a search for the contacts you want to send newsletters to.

    3. tip_icon2.gif Tip: You can also subscribe a single contact to receive newsletters by clicking Perform Action > Subscribe to Newsletter from the Contact Record.

  3. After performing your search, from the Search for Contacts screen, select the contacts you want to send subscription requests to by selecting the appropriate check boxes.

  4. At the bottom of the page, click the More Options link and then click Subscribe to Newsletter.

    Note: Contacts must have an email address and their first/last name specified in their record in order to be successfully subscribed.

    The results of your subscription request appears. The contacts will receive a link to the newsletter where they can opt-in and become subscribers.
