The Contacts Setup Tab

Top Producer 8i can perform automatic duplicate contact checking to prevent you from accidentally creating more than one contact record for a single contact. In addition, this screen provides a means of downloading a number of data import and conversion tools.

Duplicate Contact Check	Always check for duplicate contacts?	If Yes, Top Producer 8i checks contacts entered while adding listings, closings, referrals, etc., against your existing contact database using the contact's name and contact information (i.e. phone numbers and email addresses are compared, but property address information is not).
