Once you have defined an area in Area Management, you can set up and publish Market Data Displays that show details about the real estate market in your area. Once published, these displays are updated monthly to ensure they are current and accurate.
To create a Market Data Display:
Open the Market
Data Display setup page.
How?
Click Add New to access the Setup page.
In the Market Data Display Setup area, complete the following:
Market Data Type: Select the type of graph you want to display. To view the available displays, see "Market Data Graph Displays".
Area: Select the area you want to use for the display. For information on defining an area, see "Area Management".
Property type: Select the property type you want to target, if applicable.
Heading/Sub-heading:
Enter the text you want to appear on your output. Example
Agent Source: Specify where you will place the display (for example, on your Web site).
Call to Action: Select whether you want to include a link to a Market Snapshot or Newsletter Subscriber request form.
In the Display Appearance area, complete the following:
Select the size of display text you want—small for a Market Snapshot, any size for a Newsletter.
Note: Recipient can click a small image to open it in the large size.
Select a color theme.
Preview the output and make any adjustments.
To publish the display:
In the Web Form & Link Code area, decide how you want to publish the display:
Get Web Form: Place the entire form on a Web page.
Get Text Link: Place the link in an email or on a Web site that, when clicked, displays the form.
Get Graph URL: Place the image on your blog or another Web site.
The code appears in the text box.
Follow the instructions that appear above the text box to copy and paste the code or link into the appropriate area.
