Use the Family &
Friends tab to track a contact's business partners, assistants,
extended family members, their contact information, and birth dates. Once
you've added their information, you can quickly view their details (birthday,
contact information, etc) by clicking the Family
& Friends icon from the header in the
Contact
Record.
To add a family or friend:
Open the Family & Friends tab. How?
Click the Add Family or Friend action link.
On the Add Family or Friend form, define their relation to the contact and accompanying relevant information. For a complete list of the fields available, see the "Add Family or Friend form" topic.
Tip:
Set up a birthday reminder for the family member or friend by specifying
their Birthday and then selecting
a value from the Remind me
drop-down list. The reminder will appear in the Activities
Summary screen.
Click the Add Family or Friend button.
