Setting Listing Expiration Default Values

Use the Listings Setup subtab to set the listing expiration date and the listing expiration reminder. These values will be used as the default values for all future listings, but can be edited on the fly from the Add Listing form or in the listing record.

To set the listing expiration values:

1. Open the Listings Setup subtab. How?

   1. From the [User name] menu in the top right, select Settings. Example:

      

   2. Click the Listings & Closings tab.

   3. Click the Listings Setup subtab.

2. Click the Edit Listing Setup action link to change the screen to Edit mode.

3. Enter a value for the number of days after the listing date that you want your listings to expire.

4. In the Expiration Reminder field, enter a value for the number of days you want to be reminded in advance of a listing expiration date.

   Tip: The expiration reminder appears on the Listings Summary screen and Dashboard as an Exclamation icon next to the expiry date of your listing.

5. Click the Save Listings Setup button.
