Managing Agents

The account owner of a team or partnership Top Producer 8i account can add, remove, or edit the agents allowed access to the account. All of these actions are performed from the Team Members tab of the My Account area.

Note: This procedure relates to granting agents access to a Top Producer 8i team or partnership account. Licensing must already be in place before you can add agents.

Open the Team Members tab. How?
1. From the [User name] menu in the top right, select My Account. Example:
2. Click the Team Members tab.
Select the Add Agent action link.

The Add/Edit Agent form opens.
In the Name Details and Login Information section, enter the agent's name details and the username and password they will use to log onto Top Producer 8i.
In the Assign Add-On Product Licenses section, specify the licences to which they should have access. The licensing must be in place before it will appear as an option in this screen.
In the Assign MLS Access to this User section, select the MLS board(s) you want the agent to access.
In the Data Export and Deletion Security Settings section, select if you want the agent to be able to export and delete data. More Info:
- Select Allow this agent to export data from Top Producer 8i if you want the agent to be able to export contact information (including all associated properties), listings, closings, referrals and leads.
- Select Allow this agent to delete data from Top Producer 8i if you want the agent to be able to delete contact information (including all associated properties), listings, closings, referrals and leads.
Note: Regardless of this setting, the agent will be able to delete activities.
Click the Save Agent Info button.

Your agents will be able to edit their contact information via the My Info screen.

Open the Team Members tab. How?
1. From the [User name] menu in the top right, select My Account. Example:
2. Click the Team Members tab.
Click on the agent's name in the Agents table.
From the Edit Agent form, you can edit any of the agent's licensing or contact information, including:
- Changing passwords.
- Changing contact information.
- Adding or removing licenses.
- Changing Export or Delete settings.

Click the Save Agent Info button.

Open the Team Members tab. How?
1. From the [User name] menu in the top right, select My Account. Example:
2. Click the Team Members tab.
Click the Delete icon in the agent's row of the Agents table.
Confirm the deletion.
