Defining Email Handling Settings

From the Email Setup tab, you can configure your email settings, indicate the default reply-to address used for outgoing messages, define assistant access to your email inbox, and determine Sent Items handling.

To define your email settings:

  1. Open the Email Setup subtab. How?triangle.gif

  2. Click the Edit Email Setup button.

  3. Enter the Default Email Address you want used in outgoing messages. This is the address that will be displayed in the From: field of every email message you send from Top Producer 8i.

    Warning: Do not enter an email address that you have not already configured for use with Top Producer 8i.

  4. Confirm that the Save Sent emails in the Sent Items folder check box reflects your desired configuration. Saving sent email messages is recommended.

  5. If you want to allow any assistants you have configured to have access to your email, select the appropriate check box.

  6. Click the Save Email Setup button.
