From the Plan Templates tab you can view all of the templates used in a particular plan. You can view the template name, type and category, the description of the corresponding activity, and when the activity is scheduled to be completed. You can also select another template for an activity, open multiple templates for review and editing purposes, and generate a Plan Template Report.
Note: The Plan Templates tab is only available for Action plans — not Listing, Closing or Service Report plans.
To view a plan's templates:
Open the Plans Manager screen.
How?
Click the tab that contains the plan you want to view, and then click the plan name.
Click the Plan Templates tab.
Every template used in the plan appears in the list. You can see template details, such as the template type and category, the description of the corresponding activity, and when the activity is scheduled to be completed.
You can:
Open multiple templates for viewing and editing by selecting the check boxes beside the templates, and then clicking Mass Open.
Preview an individual template by clicking the Email preview or PDF preview
icon.
Select a different template for an activity by clicking the Select another template icon. You can either select an existing template from the Category and Template drop-down lists, or create a new template.
Tip: The above step is applicable if an activity already exists. If a corresponding activity does not yet exist and you want to add a template to the plan, add an activity from the Plan Activities tab. During activity creation, you can then either select the template you want to add to the plan, or create a new template.
Generate a report that shows all the templates used in the currently displayed plan by clicking Plan Templates Report. For more information, see "Generating a Plan Template Report".
