Presentation templates are unique in that they allow you to add areas for comparable listings to your templates. You can add specific areas for the following kinds of comparable: current listings, recent sales, pending sales, expired listings, adjusted comparables, and school comparables.
A presentation will only accept as much comparable listing information as it has room to display. Specifying 6 comparables for a template that only has room for 4 will result in 2 comparables being excluded from both the display and any statistics based on the comparables.
To add a set of comparables to a presentation page:
Open the View Presentation (for existing presentations) or the Edit Personal Copy (for presentation templates) screen.
How?
Navigate to the page in the presentation where you would like to add comparables.
Click the Edit Page button.
Click the Insert Comparable(s) link to display the Insert Comparable(s) in-line.
Use the Type of Comparables drop-down to select the type of comparable(s) you want the current page to contain.
Select one of the pre-defined layouts for the comparables block, or define a custom block by entering the number of columns (maximum 5) and rows (maximum 30).
Note: The number of comparables that a personal copy template can accept is determined by the system template that the copy is based on. Do not, for example, add a block of 6 comparables to a template based on a 4-comparable system template.
Click the Insert Comparable(s) button to add the comparable block.
You now see yellow text-boxes on your page representing the comparables you have just added.
You must now add merge codes into the comparable block in order for the comparable data to merge in properly. Click the Edit Comparable(s) link.
One comparable, representing the entire set for that page, appears.
Click the Insert Merge Code link to launch the Insert Merge Code in-line. The merge codes available depend on the comparable type you selected earlier.
Note: To add merge codes into the page and outside of the comparables block, click Insert Merge Code when you see the yellow comparable text boxes.
Insert the merge codes into your comparable. You may need to adjust the height and width of the merge code text box and move it to the desired position in the comparable. After inserting each merge code, use the Top Producer Editor styling tools to style the code.
Click the Save Comparable button to save your changes.
Click the Save Page button when your changes are complete.
