Property records are linked off of the Contact Record of the property's owner, so the best way to quickly find a specific property is to use the Search for Contacts feature to find the property's owner.
Warning: Address information that you specify as search criteria is used to search against ALL of a contact's linked properties, but a contact's primary property address is always the address displayed in the search results table, even if the matching property is one of contact's other properties.
To find a specific property record:
Open the Search for Contacts screen.
How?
Define the property address you want to find.
Tip: Just enter the first few numbers/letters of the address
in the Street #, Street
Name, City, or Zip fields to find every record
with a matching sequence. Note that if you enter values in more than
one field, the search feature will find only the properties matching
all the values you entered.
Click the Search button.
The search runs and the contact records with matching properties are displayed in the search results table.
Click on a contact's row to open the Contact Record.
Click the Properties tab.
From the properties summary table, click the address of the property you want to view or modify.
Tip: To view multiple properties, select the check boxes beside
the properties you want to view, and then click the Mass
Open link. Click the <Prev
and Next> links at the
bottom of the screen to view the selected properties.
The Property Record screen opens. You can now change, add, or remove any property information.
