About Folders

Folders allow you to organize your received email messages by creating folders for different categories of email and copying/moving messages into them as they arrive.

Folders are located on the left side of the Inbox screen and display the number of unread messages in parentheses. When a folder is selected on the Inbox screen, the total number of messages and unread messages appear at the top of the screen. The Inbox and all personal folders cannot exceed 30,000 messages (there are no limits on the Trash, Sent Items and Spam folders). In order to prevent reaching the limit and risk being unable to receive future messages, you will be prompted to reduce the number of messages when these folders reach 29,000 messages.

Warning: Messages in the Trash and Spam folders will be deleted automatically after 15 days. Check the Trash and Spam folders regularly to ensure important messages will not be deleted.
