Deleting Plan Activities

Activities that are associated with plans can be deleted from the plan details screen. You can delete one activity or multiple activities.

Note: Plan activities can only be deleted within your personal plans.

To delete one activity:

1. Open the Plans Manager screen. How?

   • From the Main Menu bar, go to Calendar > Plans Manager.

2. Click the Personal tab, and then use the Show drop-down list to locate the desired plan.

3. Click the plan name to view the activities within that plan.

   The plan's activities are displayed on the Plan Activities tab.

4. Click the activity's Delete icon.

5. From the Delete Activity dialog box, click Yes to confirm deletion.

6. If the activity has a dependent activity(an activity that won't occur until another activity has been completed) associated with it, select how you want to handle the dependent activity and click Done. Otherwise, skip this step:

1. • Dependent activity in an Action Plan:

     • After the plan start date: Selecting this option will set the dependent activity to occur on the Plan start date (which was fixed when the Plan was initially applied).

     • After a different preceding activity occurs: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur after the activity you select from the Select a preceding activity drop-down list has been completed.

   • Dependent activity in a Listing Plan:

     • After the listing date: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur a specified number of days after the listing date. For example, the dependent activity was set to be completed 2 days after the activity you are currently deleting was completed. Selecting this option will set the activity to occur 2 days after the listing date.

     • Before expiration date: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur a specified number of days before the listing expiration date. For example, the dependent activity was set to be completed 2 days after the activity you are currently deleting was completed. Selecting this option will set the activity to occur 2 days before the listing expiration date.

     • After the expiration date: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur a specified number of days after the listing expiration date. For example, the dependent activity was set to be completed 2 days after the activity you are currently deleting was completed. Selecting this option will set the activity to occur 2 days after the listing expiration date.

     • After a different preceding activity occurs: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur after the activity you select from the Select preceding activity drop-down list has been completed.

   • Dependent activity in a Closing Plan:

     • After acceptance date: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur a specified number of days after the acceptance date. For example, the dependent activity was set to be completed 2 days after the activity you are currently deleting was completed. Selecting this option will set the activity to occur 2 days after the acceptance date.

     • Before closing date: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur a specified number of days before the closing date. For example, the dependent activity was set to be completed 2 days after the activity you are currently deleting was completed. Selecting this option will set the activity to occur 2 days before the closing date.

     • After closing date: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur a specified number of days after the closing date. For example, the dependent activity was set to be completed 2 days after the activity you are currently deleting was completed. Selecting this option will set the activity to occur 2 days after the closing date.

     • After a different preceding activity occurs: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur after the activity you select from the Select preceding activity drop-down list has been completed.

To delete multiple activities:

1. Open the Plans Manager screen. How?

   • From the Main Menu bar, go to Calendar > Plans Manager.

2. Click the Personal tab, and then use the Show drop-down list to locate the desired plan.

3. Click the plan name to view the activities within that plan.

   The plan's activities are displayed on the Plan Activities tab.

4. Select the check boxes beside the activities you want to delete, and then click the Mass Delete link.

5. From the Delete dialog box, click Yes to confirm deletion.

6. If you are working with an action plan, and the activity has a dependent activity(an activity that won't occur until another activity has been completed) associated with it, select how you want to handle the dependent activity. Otherwise, skip this step.

1. 1. Select one of the following:

      • After the plan start date: Selecting this option will set the dependent activity to occur on the Plan start date (which was fixed when the Plan was initially applied).

      • After a different preceding activity occurs: Selecting this option will make the dependent activity occur after the activity you select from the Select preceding activity drop-down list has been completed.

   2. Click Next to specify how you want to handle the remaining activities, or Use Start Date for all Remaining to use the plan start date for all remaining activities.
