Working with Headers and Footers

When creating multi-page letter templates, you can define header and footer areas that will repeat their contents across every page in the template. You can add headers and footers to presentation templates, but these must be added individually for each page in your template.

Note: This does not apply to Flyer or email templates.

To insert a header and footers into a template:

  1. Open the Edit Personal Copy screen. How?triangle.gif

  2. For presentation templates, click Edit Page. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.

  3. Click the Create Header and Footer  wp_headerfooter_icon.jpg icon.

    Text boxes appear at the top and bottom of every page of the template.

  4. Click within one of the new text boxes to drop your cursor into this text area.

    From this point you can type, insert pictures, and/or insert merge codes and style them as if you were working within any other text area. The contents that you insert will be repeated in the header/footer throughout the document.
