Pictures can be inserted as either framed objects, like text boxes, or as inline objects, that move with the text into which they are inserted. Picture frames are floating pictures that you can reposition, resize, add, or remove from most Top Producer 8i Templates (picture frames cannot be added to Email templates). Inline pictures can be added into any template but cannot be resized or repositioned.
To add and position a picture frame:
Note: This procedure does not apply to email templates.
Open the Edit Personal Copy screen.
How?
For presentation templates, click Edit Page. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.
Click the Insert Picture Frame from File icon.
Browse to the location of the picture you wish to insert and click the Open button.
Click inside the new picture frame to select it. The picture frame is selected when the outer frame, and sizing handles (small squares on each side and corner) are visible.
To reposition the picture frame, position your mouse pointer over the picture until you see this icon. Then click and drag the picture to its new location.
To resize the picture frame, hover the mouse pointer over any of the 6 (square) sizing handles until your mouse cursor changes, then click and drag the picture to its new dimension.
The outer border defines area around which text will be wrapped around the picture. To resize the picture's frame, hover the mouse pointer over the outer border on any of the four sides, then click and drag the picture's border to its new dimension.
To add an inline picture:
Open the Edit Personal Copy screen.
How?
For presentation templates, click Edit Page. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.
Place your cursor in the document where you would like the picture inserted.
Click the Insert Inline Picture from File icon.
