Viewing or Editing a Marketing Link

Marketing links can most easily be edited from the Marketing Links summary screen.

To edit a marketing link:

1. Open the Marketing Links summary screen. How?

   • From the Main Menu bar, go to Marketing > Marketing Link Library.

2. Click the name of the marketing link you want to edit.

3. From the Edit Marketing Link in-line form, you can only edit the following:

   • Link Text: This is the link text that will be inserted into the email message.

   • URL: The URL can only be modified for personal marketing links (and not those created by Top Producer 8i when you publish/email a presentation or flyer). The Internet address of the link (starting with "http://", "ftp://", or "https://", depending on the site to which you are linking). The easiest way of getting this right is to open a browser window, go to the site, and cut and paste the contents of the browser's address into the URL field.

   • Description: This is the longer description for the marketing link to help you quickly identify it in the Marketing Links summary screen.

4. Click the Save Link button to save your changes.
