Viewing Email Messages

You can view sent, received, or draft email messages.

Important: Your Top Producer 8i Inbox is only active if your Email settings are set to use either your @topproducer.com account or another external email account. If you have not done so, then the Inbox email application is not relevant to you.

To view an email message:

1. Open the Inbox screen. How?

   • From the Main Menu bar, go to Email > Inbox.

2. Select the folder that contains the message you want to view.

   Tips: Folders are located on the left side of the screen and display the number of unread messages in parentheses. The selected folder's total number of messages and unread messages appear at the top of the screen.

3. To display the message's contents in the preview pane (lower half of the screen), click the message's row.

4. To open:

   • One message, highlight the message and click the Open action link. You can also double-click a message to open it.

   • Multiple messages, highlight a message and click the Open action link. Click the <Prev and Next> links at the bottom of the screen to view all messages in the selected folder.

5. If only one message is in the selected folder, click Close in the bottom left. If multiple messages are in the selected folder, click the X beside the Next> link at the bottom of the screen.
